He graduated in Brazil in Physical Therapy in 2001 and currently lives in Woburn, MA. Marcelo has wide experience in treating individuals across the lifespan with a variety of orthopedic and sports injuries, he has worked with professional soccer and Basketball players in Brazil, and with a diverse active population from the teen to older adults. His clinical interests including post-knee surgery,

running injuries, scoliosis, and hiking/climbing injuries. Marcelo has clinical competence and certifications in Maitland techniques (joint mobilization), running, scoliosis, and aquatic therapy. He also has a certificate in personal training from American counseling on Exercise – ACE

When Marcelo is not working, he is a 4-season hiker leader for the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC), he enjoys rock/ice climbing, and snowboarding in the winter.
