Rehab Success at St. Joseph’s!

When Confesor came to Saint Joseph Rehabilitation after a hospital stay, he faced big challenges from Parkinson’s Disease.

With determination, the support of his family, and the care of our Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy teams, Confesor made incredible progress. Through our GracefulMotion program, he regained strength, improved his balance, and learned strategies to be more independent every day.

Saint Joseph Rehab residents took a trip to Italy this week—without even leaving the building!

As part of our baking group, residents rolled up their sleeves and enjoyed creating Italian-inspired treats together. The room was filled with delicious aromas, laughter, and memories of family traditions.

Experiences like this not only bring joy but also encourage teamwork, fine motor skills, and social connection. What a sweet way to celebrate culture and community!

Our residents had a wonderful week full of activities, from creating festive fall decorations to showing off their creativity with crazy hat making! The laughter, smiles, and colorful crafts made it a week to remember.

Meet Janice! She came to Saint Joseph Rehab after struggling with COPD and respiratory failure, unable to get out of bed without losing her breath. With the help of our dedicated therapy team and the innovative OmniFlow® system, Janice pushed herself every day — and the results are incredible.

She’s now walking over 100 feet without stopping and has returned to enjoying a regular diet, as well as greater independence in her daily life.

In Janice’s own words:
"Just keep pushing, just keep trying, and the therapy team always encouraged me to keep trying!"

A Trip to Mexico—Right Here at Saint Joseph Rehab!

Our residents and staff came together for a festive celebration inspired by the sights, sounds, and flavors of Mexico! From themed activities to delicious treats, it was a lively and colorful day filled with laughter, culture, and a sense of community.

We love bringing the world to our residents through themed events like this one—creating moments of joy and connection for everyone to enjoy.

Meet Harry! He came to Saint Joseph Rehab after a fall left him struggling with knee pain and daily activities. With the support of our GracefulMotion program, Harry worked with Physical and Occupational Therapy to rebuild strength, mobility, and independence.

By the time he went home, Harry was walking 200 feet, climbing stairs, and taking care of his daily tasks independently. In his words:
“Thank you for helping me get back on my feet again. Now I’m ready to go home!”
