Lowney Medical Associates is a family medical practice that was started by Dr. Charles Lowney and his wife Mrs. Irene Lowney.

In 1997 Dr. Jay Lowney joined the "family" practice and in 2012 Dr. Mike joined.

The Lowney family would like to offer our sincerest appreciation to all of those who weathered the snowstorm last night to pay respects to our Patriarch. He truly loved all of his patients, and he could feel the love you gave him in return. Thank you so much!

Our Story

Lowney Medical Associates was started in 1966 by Dr. Charles Lowney and his wife Mrs. Irene Lowney. The current building at 1234 Hyde Park Ave. in Cleary Square has been home to the medical practice since 1974. The Lowney Building was an old burned out furniture store and Dr. and Mrs. Lowney created the “Family Medical Center”. In 1997, Dr. Jay Lowney joined the “family” practice and in 2012 Dr. Mike Lowney joined. Together they have built a very successful community health center for Hyde Park and the surrounding towns. Lowney Meidcal has maintained a personal touch over many years that unfortunately has been slowly fading in the current health care system. We pride ourselves on service and quality care for our patients.
