On Saturday we went to the national cemetery in Bourne to volunteer to help place flags on the gravesites. It was a very moving ceremony to start the day. There were many volunteers so we were able to get the entire cemetery done in a little over an hour. I chose section 12, as this is where my Uncle Peter and Aunt Irene were laid to rest. We were fortunate enough to place the flag on their grave. Thank you to all that have served, and especially for those that paid the ultimate sacrifice.
