🍎Not all fats are created equally!
🍎It is important to know which kinds of fats you are consuming daily, to understand their impact on your health. 🍎Keep these points in mind and follow these tips to optimize your fat intake!
✅Moderation is Key!
✅Include omega 3-rich fish at least 2x/week
✅1/4 cup of nuts per serving
✅1/2 avocado per serving
✅Limit to 12-15g of saturated fats per day
✅Avoid trans fats!

🍎Did you know that fiber has a multitude of health benefits beyond promoting digestion? Fiber can be beneficial for heart health, cholesterol, and maintaining steady blood sugar levels!

🍎Despite this, most Americans are not eating enough fiber in their daily diet! We recommend consuming about 30-40g of fiber per day unless otherwise directed. Include these fiber-filled foods and make your fiber intake a priority for a healthier, happier you!

😁 PS Remember to drink enough water while upping your fiber intake.

‼️ It’s not just about the carbohydrates! ‼️

When making nutrient choices that support your blood sugar, focus on multiple nutrients that are going to impact digestion and absorption. The more protein, fiber, and healthy fats in your food choices, the less drastic the blood sugar response from carbohydrates!
