We are proud to announce that Vivian W. Williams, DNP, MSN, RN, CPNP, Director of Advanced Practice Nursing, has been awarded her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Simmons University.

The DNP represents the highest level of professional nursing practice, integrating evidence-based practice with advanced analytical, leadership, and systems-thinking skills. This achievement reflects Dr. Williams’ unwavering commitment to advancing nursing leadership and improving healthcare outcomes.

As part of her doctoral work, Dr. Williams and her team formally presented their mixed-methods study, The Impact of a Formal Advanced Practice Nurse Leadership Structure on Staff Engagement, to faculty and colleagues at Simmons University—contributing meaningful insights to the field of advanced practice nursing leadership.
