We had a great time at the Oxalosis & Hyperoxaluria Foundation (OHF) Patient & Family Summit in Nashville last month! The summit offered education on primary hyperoxaluria, updates on research, and support for families. Big thanks to Dr. Michelle Baum and Angela Baggett, BSN, RN, CPN for representing Boston Children’s as part of the OHF Care Network.

Drs. Richard Yu and Kenneth Softness’s Spring trip to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Ghana was featured in Outpatient Surgery Magazine. Hosted by the nonprofit International Volunteers in Urology, the initiative sought to empower local clinicians by providing specialized training in pediatric urology—a critical need in a country with only one pediatric urologist and a long waiting list for care. Over the course of four days, the team successfully performed 23 surgical procedures. Learn more about their trip:
