The woman in white is self-assured. She's stepped into her feminine energy. She believes so deeply in herself and the trust of the universe. She's intuitive. She's humble. She's present.

The woman on the right was Golden Retriever energy. A people pleaser doing everything for others. Drinking. Smoking. Finding any way to escape her current reality.

You can see it in her face. You can see it in her jaw. You can see it in the way she stares.

The woman on the left? She's willing to have the uncomfortable conversation. She's ready to step into her identity. She doesn't want to be the same anymore.

Here's the uncomfortable truth about why your business feels so heavy: You've been running it like a stressed-out adult instead of letting your inner child have a say.

And I get it we've been conditioned to believe that "serious business" means suppressing the playful, creative, free parts of ourselves.

But here's what I learned in a random therapy session at a Bali café this week:

Your inner child isn't a distraction from your success. She's the KEY to it.

Think about it:

She's the one who knows how to create without overthinking.
She's the one who shows up authentically without fear of judgment.
She's the one who attracts people effortlessly because she's just BEING herself.

But most of us have locked her in a cage built by:

What we think we "should" be doing
How we think we "should" show up
What everyone else expects from us
And then we wonder why our business feels like a grind.

Here's what shifted for me:

I stopped asking "What's the strategy?" and started asking "What would feel FUN right now?"

I stopped forcing content and started creating from a place of play.

I stopped performing for an invisible audience and started showing up for the ONE person who's been waiting to be seen—me.

And you know what happened?

Everything got lighter. Easier. More magnetic.

Because people don't buy from the "perfect" version of you.

I spent years in corporate America. Watched the "top performers" do their thing. You know the type

Loud. Aggressive. Pushy AF. "Sales Shark"

They'd corner clients in meetings. Interrupt objections. Talk over concerns. Basically bulldoze their way to a "yes."

And it worked... for a while.

But here's what I noticed:

Those clients? They'd ghost after the first contract. They felt buyer's remorse. They'd complain to customer service. They never referred anyone.

Because nobody likes being SOLD to. Nobody likes feeling manipulated into a decision.

Meanwhile, there was this woman on our team, let's call her Sarah.

Sarah never had the highest close rate in the room. But her clients? They STAYED. They upgraded. They referred their entire network.

And I was obsessed with figuring out why.

So I watched her. And here's what she did differently:

She asked questions instead of giving pitches.
She listened more than she talked.
She made people feel SEEN before she ever mentioned price.
She built trust first, sold second.

She wasn't convincing anyone of anything. She was simply showing them what was possible and inviting them to step into it.

Here is the most frustrating 3 months of my business.

I was posting every single day. Showing up in my stories. Jumping on trends. Creating reels. Being consistent AF.

And I signed ZERO clients from Instagram. ZERO.

Meanwhile, I'm watching other coaches post three times a week and book out their calendars.

I'm seeing people with smaller followings make more money than me.

And I'm over here like... what am I doing wrong?

Here's what I finally realized:

I was treating Instagram like an entertainment platform instead of a business tool.

I was so focused on being relatable and fun that I forgot to actually SELL.

I never talked about my 10+ years in corporate sales. I never shared client results. I never told people how to work with me. I never positioned myself as an expert.

I was just... there. Posting. Hoping someone would magically figure out what I do and slide into my DMs ready to pay me.

Spoiler alert: that's not how it works.

The people making money on Instagram aren't just consistent. They're STRATEGIC.

They know exactly what each piece of content is supposed to do.

I used to think needing help was a weakness.

Like, I'm smart enough, driven enough, experienced enough—I should be able to figure this s**t out on my own, right?

Wrong.

Here's what I've learned after years of doing this alone:

You can't see the picture when you're inside the frame.

I can map out a strategy for my clients in 45 minutes that would take them MONTHS to figure out on their own. But when it comes to MY business? I'm too close to it. Too in my head. Too attached to the outcome.

That's where my accountability coach comes in.

She's not just keeping me on track (though let's be real, I need that too). She's giving me perspective I can't give myself. She's calling out my blind spots. She's reminding me of my own advice when I conveniently forget it.

And honestly? Having someone who believes in my $250K goal as much as I do? That's priceless.

2026 goals? Let me put them out into the universe because apparently accountability is a thing and I'm here for it.

Goal 1: $150K
This is my "based on history and I know I can do this" goal. It's happening. Period.

Goal 2: $200K
This one makes me a little uncomfortable (which means it's the RIGHT goal). If I put in the extra effort, show up consistently, and stop second-guessing my pricing? This is mine.

Goal 3: $250K
My Act of God goal. The one that requires a little delusion, a lot of faith, and divine intervention. But I'm claiming it anyway because why the hell not? ✨

Here's the thing—goals without a plan are just wishes.

So I broke it ALL down:
→ Monthly & quarterly targets
→ How many clients per product
→ How many leads I need daily
→ How often I'm showing up
→ And then I prayed about it (because God and I are co-creating this life)

And now? I'm telling YOU.

Because when you speak your goals out loud, you hold yourself accountable. Even if no one remembers them, YOU will.
