When I met Amanda Marie in 2024, there was an immediate sense of recognition, like we had known each other far beyond this lifetime.
Before we held a Winter Solstice ritual together, I asked her for Reiki.
I didn’t say much, just that my back had been bothering me.
As I laid face down on the table and she began, my body dropped instantly.
It felt like I was floating. Colors and images started moving through my awareness, vivid and expansive.
Time disappeared. Neither of us knew if it had been minutes or an hour.
Afterward, she shared that there was intense heat and energy coming from a specific place in my lower back the exact place I had been feeling pain and the same area I later needed a lipoma removed from.
That moment stayed with me.
As a Reiki practitioner, I value receiving from other practitioners.
Not all sessions are the same and we often forget to put ourselves on the table.
Reiki has been a pivotal part of my healing, my life, and my work. I am stepping into the next level of my Reiki Mastery through apprenticeship with Amanda Marie of Wicked Smaht Wellness And as part of this next chapter, I’ll be co-hosting Reiki Level 1 training Sacred Soul Collective this Saturday from 10 am-4pm.
