Dear patients,
I hope you are all healthy, doing well, and staying as calm as possible in these crazy times.
REGARDING OFFICE VISITS:
The Governor classifies chiropractors as “essential” providers who could potentially relieve emergency rooms of visits that could be addressed in a private office.
Our challenge right now is to find a balance between these two things:
1. Our collective safety and
2. The ability to meet our patient’s clinical needs.
So, for the next two weeks, as recommended by the State through April 3rd, we will be limiting our visits to emergency type care. We will reevaluate things at that time.
I know that this is a very vague definition. How will we know if an intervention is urgent and necessary in this context?
If you feel you have an urgent need for care during this period of time, a need that warrants your leaving whatever level of your quarantine, in order to get checked and adjusted, let’s do whatever possible to make that happen.
Call me on my cell phone: 617-877-6933 and we can decide what the appropriate thing to do is.... and any needed appointments will be made.
In the office, we are taking all the needed and appropriate hygienic steps to maximize safety... disinfectant wipe downs of surfaces and equipment, and limiting numbers of people in the space...
We will all get through this and, regarding care, we'll be able to pick up right where we left off.
