Are you planning a milestone celebration? The Substation is an iconic, historical, industrial-chic venue right in Boston. This special partner showcase on August 11 gives you an opportunity to explore our venue while experiencing tastes, sounds, and samples from our incredible list of partner vendors. The bar will be open, Substation event coordinators on-site - imagine your next event in our stunning space!

Our partner vendors include trusted, high-quality companies who have serviced events in our unique space, in whom we have full confidence to take care of our clients and our building. We intentionally build partnerships with local businesses, especially those that are woman-, BIPOC-, and LGBTQ+-owned.

Today was a fun milestone for The Substation. We had a replica weathervane from the original building - that went missing sometime in the 1970’s or 80’s - restored atop the building’s parapet. We are very grateful for the Community Preservation Act grant - and the dedicated work of the CPA commission and staff - that made its return possible. The weathervane is a small part of the very important CPA-funded work now occurring on the building’s exterior; work that’ll help preserve the building and make it watertight.

Today was a fun milestone for The Substation. We had a replica weathervane from the original building - that went missing sometime in the 1970’s or 80’s - restored atop the building’s parapet.
