Join me, a pediatric speech pathologist, for a fun and engaging Hanukkah Story Time & Craft at 11:00 AM at Clover Clubhouse on Monday, December 15th.

✨ What’s included: 🎵 Songs that build language 🕎 Hands-on menorah play for fine motor skills 🎨 A festive Hanukkah craft to encourage creativity 🤸‍♂️ Movement activities that support early language
🙌🏼 A take home activity to support development at home

It will be play-based, interactive, and perfect for little learners - this is a wonderful way to learn about and celebrate Hanukkah while supporting your child’s communication skills 💬💙

As a speech pathologist, I had the privilege of supporting a student with aphasia who designed her own science fair project about word-finding difficulties for stroke survivors with .

She planned the study, recruited participants, ran the sessions, and created her poster - and then went on to place 2nd at regionals and 1st at the state level. 🏅

Her success is a powerful reminder:
👩🏻‍🎓People with aphasia are smart, capable, motivated learners.
☀️When we give them meaningful, self-driven projects, they shine.

TLC Speech Therapy, Clover Clubhouse and South Boston Small Businesses are joining forces to “Clear the Coats” for . The Edgerley Family South Boston Boys and Girls Club is looking to fill a long list of requests to help keep their members warm. There are children in our community without a coat and they desperately need our help.

✨ For the 4th year in a row, joined the 5K with - an event dedicated to raising awareness and building resources for people who stutter. 💜

This year, I was joined by teacher + running enthusiast , who ran as an advocate for their students, while I ran as an . Together, we showed up to support this amazing community. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃‍♂️💬

One of our favorite topics is the importance of Interprofessional Collaboration. It is the best way to center the person with the brain injury and their loved ones while providing the best care for brain injury rehabilitation.

There are thousands of rare diseases that impact millions of people around the world. At TLC Speech Therapy, we support the speech, language, and swallowing needs of some of these individuals.

We had a wonderful time volunteering tonight helping with crafts at their open house and learning about their Universal PreK program.

The new library from the is full of beautiful books and cozy spots for children and families to read together.

and are excited to announce a FREE, in-person, parent and caregiver support group.

The support group will be hosted by Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club () on West 6th Street in South Boston.  The group will meet on Fridays 10:30-11:30 starting in October and running through June.

We look forward to hosting all parents and caregivers with infants. The group will focus on all types of feeding, developmental milestones, and community building.

This year, two people to joined my team - and .

I did my in hot and humid Barcelona. An early run allowed me to the view the architecture of Gaudí before the Basílica de la Sagrada Família got too busy or too hot.

and did their 5k on a much cooler tree-filled trail in Connecticut.

I participate because Spero Stuttering provides important stuttering resources to and families. They also advocate for the stuttering community.

Proceeds from the 5k fund stipends for to obtain research-based and quality training.
