250 sessions is years of showing up and doing the work. It takes a serious amount of grit to keep that streak alive, and it’s a lot easier to get the reps done when you have this group behind you.

Between the hyped-up playlist and the constant encouragement, they’ve built a culture where nobody has to go through a workout alone. When Ben hits a number like 250, the whole group feels the win.

Ben, congratulations on the work. See you at the next one. 🤜🤛

Most gyms can trigger sensory overload...

With fluorescent lights, crashing weights, and the "grind" culture, it’s no wonder so many neurodivergent athletes feel the gym isn't for them.

At Inclusive Fitness®, we do things differently. Strength training is a tool for navigating the world, used to build the balance to move with more ease or the physical capability to stay independent.

We don't ask you to "fit in" to our program. We built the program to fit you. 💪

Never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down. 🎤
..And Peter certainly isn't giving up on his goals! He just cleared session #10. Peter, your dedication (and your taste in music) make the gym a better place. Congrats on the milestone!

Next stop: 20 sessions! 🎸🔥

Ben just hit 375 sessions.
Jonathan cleared 100.

A 375-session milestone is years of work. 100 sessions is a hard-earned habit. Both take a serious amount of grit.

The best part isn't the numbers, though... It’s the atmosphere. These guys have built a space where they show up, support each other, and get better every week.

Huge congrats to Ben and Jonathan. We’ll see you at the next one. 💪

We often support orgs and systems that celebrates getting adaptive athletes into parasport… but not one that prepares them to thrive and be healthy

Adaptive sport is growing and that’s a good thing!

But we’re missing something critical 👉 participation ≠ preparation

Here’s what most people don’t realize:
💪 Sport doesn’t build complete fitness
🎾 Repetition without preparation leads to injury
😕Sport access is inconsistent and often disappears

We’re asking athletes to perform without building the fitness foundation to support it

👉 Fitness should come first or at least be paired w/ sport.
If we keep prioritizing participation over preparation, we’re not building resilient, we’re putting our athletes at risk

Meet Kate. She is thoughtful, determined, and puts incredible effort into every session at Inclusive Fitness®.

Looking for ways to stay active, Kate and her mom, Laura, struggled to find a place where she could train safely. Past programs often lacked structured progression, which left Kate vulnerable to falls and injuries.

Today, she trains both one-on-one and in our women’s group, building strength that carries over into her everyday life. She is even carrying heavy items on her own with pure confidence!

Elizabeth hits 100!!
She says her upper body is noticeably stronger... she’s lifting more, holding her posture longer, and everyday transfers feel easier. Getting into her stander at home is smoother and quicker, too, and she feels fabulous!

We’re excited to be part of the Profound Autism Summit 2026 in Boston this week.

This conference brings together families, clinicians, educators, and organizations from across the country—and we’re proud to be both exhibiting and speaking alongside an incredible group of leaders in the field.

Physical fitness is one of the most overlooked dimensions of autism care, yet for individuals with profound autism, it can be one of the most powerful drivers of health, regulation, independence, and long-term quality of life.

At Inclusive Fitness®, we focus on something often missing in traditional care models:
Strength, fitness, and long-term health.

We work with teens (12+) and adults who are autistic, have Down syndrome, or other developmental disabilities to help build:
• Strength, stability, and stamina
• Regulation, engagement, and routine
• Confidence and independence
• Skills that carry into everyday life

Join us for our session:
Strong For A Purpose: Why Fitness Must Be Central to Profound Autism Care

📅 Friday, April 17
⏰ 1:30 – 2:30 PM
📍 Grand Ballroom B | Boston Hilton Park Plaza

What if fitness was treated as essential care—not an afterthought?

In this session, Greg Austin (Inclusive Fitness) and Dr. Naomi Gauthier (Boston Children’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School) will share how high-quality strength and conditioning can profoundly impact health, behavior, independence, and quality of life for individuals with profound autism.

Drawing on clinical research and lived experience, they will explore how exercise supports physical, neurological, and behavioral health, alongside Amit & Una Basak, who will share their family’s journey and the meaningful progress they’ve experienced.

👋 Attending the Summit? Come visit us in the Exhibition Hall (Thursday & Friday).

300 sessions of showing up, putting in the work, and building incredible strength!

Kate recently hit a massive milestone at Inclusive Fitness: 300 completed training sessions! When Kate first started with us, her mom, Laura, wanted a safe, supportive space where Kate could build mobility and confidence without the risk of injury.

We know how hard it is to find a gym that actually fits. We built our space around that exact need. Through consistent, expert coaching, Kate has improved her balance and gained real independence in her daily life. During tough workouts, our coaches are right there to remind her of one simple truth: “I believe in you.”
