Last Friday was our final Conference Series for the 2025-2026 year! Novartis fellows presented and planned activities for us to reinforce our learning.

It was a beautiful day to experience our first joint conference series day with Northeastern! It was a day full of presentations, CE, and a professional speaker. Afterwards we had a networking event at Jake's N Joes where we got to mix and mingle for a few hours. The best part about being in Boston is networking with other fellows and leveraging these relationships to succeed.

Last week, the first‑year Biogen fellows had the pleasure of hosting pharmacy student members of the IPhO MCPHS Boston Chapter for a company site visit at Biogen in Cambridge, MA. It was an incredible opportunity for MCPHS University students to explore industry career pathways, learn from our MCPHS–Biogen fellows, and gain insight into the real‑world impact of pharmaceutical innovation.

We’re grateful to our first‑year Biogen fellows for inspiring the next generation of industry pharmacists, and we extend a special thank you to Biogen’s Global Medical Writing (GMW) department and the GMW fellowship program directors for their support. 💙💚

Daniella Salawu is a PGY1 post-doctoral fellow in Clinical Documentation and Medical Writing at MCPHS/Sanofi. She was invited to present her independent research at the 2026 Drug Information Association (DIA) Medical Affairs and Scientific Communications (MASC) Forum in Boston, MA!

On March 2nd, Daniella presented her poster:
