Standish Village offers Assisted Living and Compass Memory Support for local seniors. Both communities are managed by Senior Living Residences.

Standish Village is a Boston area senior community offering Assisted Living and a Compass Memory Support Neighborhood featuring innovative, research-based programming for those with Alzheimer's disease or memory loss, in affiliation with Boston University Alzheimer's Disease Center. Our location in the Lower Mills neighborhood of Dorchester and Milton offers easy access to local attractions, as well as to greater Boston's cultural sites and health care facilities. Standish Village is the sister community of Compass on the Bay in South Boston.

Spring has arrived in compass!🌸🌷Today, our residents welcomed the season by creating beautiful origami butterflies together!
Origami, which is the Japanese art of paper folding, offers more than just creativity. This meaningful activity supported fine motor skills, encouraged focus and problem-solving, and brought everyone together in a shared social experience. Most importantly, it sparked a sense of pride! There’s something special about creating something with your own hands.
Keep an eye out for these butterflies fluttering throughout our Compass neighborhood on your next visit!🦋
