Yes, I def was brought to tears of joy and sorry after reading this harrowing tale of this owls tragic end… the warrior pays respects to all apex predators, the owl of all species demands that respect.

Let loose by an act of vandalism, the Eurasian eagle-owl died after apparently striking an Upper West Side building, according to the zoo.

Amazing to watch one of the most EXCITING, DOMINANT, HIGH ENERGY, EXPLOSIVE GRAPPLER and my PERSONAL FAVORITE FIGHTER TO WATCH, Urijah Faber, as he is completely DISMANTLED and disarmed (or dis legged) by Jose Aldo’s Muy Thai LEG KICKS... a maneuver that is often overlooked and disregarded... Aldo relies on his leg kicks accuracy and devastating power while watching his opponents ENTIRE fight plan and mobility CRUMBLE as Fabers left leg begins to SWELL and bruise... the psychological effect though is absolutely stunning, as the pain from the sciatic nerve begins to literally send Faber to the ground with a mere fake of the kick, even causing him to legit fall / flip backwards in an attempt to evade after being dealt another blow to his left knee... hands down one of the most educational UFC fights ive ever watched.

Sensei Bryce Montgomery spent many hours teaching me this lesson of psychological prowess by inflicting calculated pain with targeted attacks to overwhelm your opponent and take the fight right out of them... many, painful, agonizing hours... often with me “retreating” constantly much like Faber is seen towards the later rounds. I think there may have even been a day I actually ran OUT through the front door of the studio into the parking lot in search of reprieve under the eyes of bystanding shoppers... Bryce only followed me out ensuring that if I didn’t get back inside, he’d embarress me on the asphalt all the same... good times. Humbling, educational and “hardening” lessons that few are fortunate enough to experience, giving the warrior, his unique moral and philosophical world view.
