Located in the heart of Boston’s North End, our center is a warm and welcoming setting where every patient is made to feel at home. It is our clinical expertise combined with our genuine family approach and a strong sense of community that set us apart. Our outstanding inpatient rehab program is recognized for successfully reducing hospital readmissions and restoring physical function to individuals recovering from surgery or illness. The recovery process at North End is enhanced by our comfortable ambiance and array of amenities, and our open door visiting policy allows family and friends to stop by at any time. This holiday season, we are to the animals who bring so much joy to our residents. The New England Life Enrichment Team is coming together to collect donations in support of 27 local shelters across New England!

From Monday, December 1st to Sunday, December 22nd, donations can be dropped off at our center, or any of the centers listed below.

We had a very special visitor at North End.

Father Saint Michael visited us from Italy and brought a piece of the rope of St. Francis from 800 years ago. It is kept in glass to conserve it, and it was a blessed spectacle for our residents to see.

The three knots in the rope represent Poverty, Chastity and Obedience, the three cornerstones of the Franciscan Order. This was a special moment for all as we go into the Christmas season.

North End Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center proudly announces a new medical partnership as we welcome Dr. Rossana P. Lau-Ng from Boston Geriatrics to our clinical team.

As an attending physician in the Department of Geriatrics at Boston Medical Center, Dr. Lau provides expert care for subacute rehabilitation patients and long-term care residents. She also serves as the Medical Director of the Nursing Home Program and the Decanter Program, leading interprofessional initiatives that strengthen care transitions from hospital to post-acute settings.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Lau bring her clinical expertise and compassionate bedside manner to our patients, residents, and their families here at North End Rehab.
