Its been 24 hours and we are still in disbelief. We had another call with the oncologist today who confirmed results. No cancer.
I know everyone has different beliefs, some believe in God, miracles, science, or coincidences, and some believe in a mix of it all. Whatever you believe, Henry’s results feel nothing short of amazing.
Last week during his ultrasound the results were the following: Liver: There is a new round echogenic mass in the superior left hepatic lobe measuring up to 3.8 x 1.6 x 3.1 cm
Yesterdays MRI results were the following: Liver: Liver size, contour, and signal intensity are normal. No focal hepatic lesion is present.
Both done at one of the best hospitals in the Country (1st in pediatric nephrology, 3rd in pediatric cancer).
The drs believe that his spleen was causing the appearance of a tumor. Which is probably right, but… walking out of the Jimmy Fund clinic last week it felt like there was little hope. The best that was stated was a possibility of a benign tumor but to prepare ourselves that we would be back.
Bags were packed, finding people to help with Jackson and our dog started, we reached out to our employers. Plans were in motion. And fast forward to yesterday….there was nothing 💛🎗️
