MCATBros was started in medical school by myself after dozens of students I had helped as a lead moderator of the largest online forums thanked me for what I was doing and how my advice led to their score. We aim to consolidate the information, improve the quality and efficiency of student studying by offing personalized advice based on your personalized situation. Our advice is tailored based on helping thousands of premedical students and our free documents and materials are used by 10,000+ students yearly - our most famous work being our Khan Academy Notes project- which delivers free notes which allows you to better utilize the Khan Academy videos which is one of the BEST and most comprehensive video resources that are out there (a hidden and FREE gem).
What we do?
1. We create better products (both free and paid) guides, documents, and more!
2. We answer all your messages for personalized advice for free on our Facebook group (faccebook.com/groups/mcatbros) We do this because we believe everyone should have access to free information.
3.We have helped to build r/mcat and student doctor network and now have our own on facebook - facebook.com/groups/mcatbros & reddit.com/r/mcatbros
4. We have 100th percentile (524+) scoring tutors who tutor you on exactly what you need on a $50/hr basis. Most of our students need only 2-15 sessions to have their foot in the right foot. Our tutors are students who have a commitment to help and they do this as a joyful hobby to help you succeed while they have time in their gap year to medical school. Our tutors in the past attend Texas Tech, University of Pennsylvania Medical school, Thomas Jefferson Medical School, Case Western Reserve University, and UT Southwestern, but more importantly all had scores in the 518+ range. Since April 2018 - all of our tutors have scores in the 524+ range on the real exam. Very few companies to our knowledge provide personalized as-needed services from 100th percentile tutors on a completely as needed no contract basis. Update: We now consider and hire students w/ a 129+ and solid teaching experience in the subject they are tutoring.
5. We build personalized schedules for students to gear their self-studying in the right way and give an avenue/support system throughout the way. We recommend materials, test dates, day-by-day order, study method and are there for students when they have further concerns. Unlike all other preparation companies - we have seen, read, reviewed and evaluated and collected feedback on all the preparatory products that are out there. We have seen what works for students of different backgrounds and their strengths/weaknesses. We know how long it takes to get through certain materials and how long it takes to improve in different situations. To the best of our knowledge, we are the only organization that has made a commitment to review a wide array of materials to this level of detail. Our feedback form has over 1500 responses from students.
6. We create and promote LOW cost products and services that puts you in the right setting to get you the score that indicates your potential at the lowest price possible.

8. We have some of the largest communities that we have built. Our instagram page is followed by 14.000 students, our Facebook Group by 15,000+, and our GroupMe by 3000. Our founder also played an integral part in the growth of communities that are now 10,000+ members and 45,0000+ members. The reason our communities are so rich is because we give unparalleled advice in them, spend hours daily enriching these communities with our support and advice and encourage student collaboration. About: We started as a amateur group of passionate premed students looking to help you in any way we can with the MCAT. We consider ourselves a “full service” MCAT organization that really does anything you need! From helping you look over your study schedule, select resources for your prep, finding you cheaper MCAT books, to tutoring you on the MCAT, offering you free MCAT advice, and more! We run a study group and we also are the people behind so many resources that you might find useful. Our biggest accomplishment to the premed community is working together to create the Khan academy MCAT notes. We have also collectively helped 100s of students for free with their prep and thousands of people have benefited from the notes we developed. We are now taking things to the next level and offering even more help with the MCAT with this organization!
