Today at the virtual National Conference for Women, Cher joined Lisa Ling for a powerful conversation about authenticity, resilience, and the long path to becoming fully yourself.

Cher shared that she’s never loved the word reinvention. Instead, she sees her journey as something more honest: continuing to move forward, even when things didn’t work out, and trusting the instincts that guided her from the very beginning.

She also reflected on the wisdom of her mother — lessons about confidence, determination, and believing in yourself that stayed with her throughout decades of challenges and success.

It was a reminder that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply refuse to shrink who you are.
