Exercise during pregnancy: good or bad? 🤰

The answer is good. Light to moderate activity can ease back pain, improve sleep, boost confidence, and support overall health.

Aquatic therapy, available at our Allston clinic, is especially helpful, reducing stress on joints while keeping movement safe and effective.

And did you know, we offer Pelvic Health Therapy for women in our Swampscott clinic? Pelvic Health Therapy can help reduce discomfort, prepare the body for birth, and help prevent other symptoms and side effects of pregnancy that can be experienced. Our specialist, Caitlin Zorn, PT, OCS, offers one-on-one therapy that’s personalized, judgment-free, and focused on helping you move with more comfort and confidence in everyday life.

Every pregnancy is different, but the right exercise plan can make the journey healthier and more comfortable.

What is Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)? 🫀
POTS affects blood flow and heart rate when standing, often causing dizziness, fatigue, and other symptoms.

Quick facts:
✨ Most common in women 15–50
✨ Symptoms: fatigue, rapid heartbeat, fainting, brain fog
✨ Diagnosed with a Tilt Table test or vitals check
✨ Treatment: fluids, salt, compression, reclined exercise
✨ PT helps with safe reconditioning and mobility

We offer patients a variety of strength, conditioning, and mobility programs that we customize to the individual care plan. Our goal is to treat you as a whole patient, not just a symptom or injury, to make sure you can live your active life to the fullest.

Halloween at Boston Sports Medicine = full team spirit!

Our clinics went all out this year, with creative scenes from the Frozen crew bringing the chill ❄️, to Domino’s fitting together like pros, Blue Man Group with a flexible performance 🎭, Lilo & Stitch bringing the warm weather vibes 🌺, some very creative ICD-10 Codes 🩺, and even a lineup of Kens that could rival Barbie’s Dreamhouse 🕶️.

We work hard helping patients recover and stay active, but we play hard too! Big thanks to our amazing teams for bringing the energy (and the laughs) to Halloween 2025 👻
