Hey everyone! Our friends at the Chinese-American Family Alliance for Mental Health are hosting a workshop for Chinese American parents and caregivers next Tuesday. Here are the details of the workshop:
Dear CAFAMH Family and Friends:
We are hosting an online workshop for Chinese American parents and caregivers on Tue, 9/20, from 4pm to 5pm EST. This program is co-sponsored by Chatham Square Library, New York University, and Teachers College of Columbia University.
The focus of the program is youth stressors and ways that parents and caregivers can promote wellness in children during times of stress. Leading the program will be Cindy Huang, Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology at Teachers College, and William Tsai, Assistant Professor of Applied Psychology at NYU. Details below. Huang and Tsai are recruiting participants for a study to understand the effects of COVID-19, discrimination, and stress for Chinese American parents.
