Mary Keenan and Michele Zuccala established South End Eye in the summer of 2009. Michele and Mary have more than forty years of combined experience in the eyewear industry. They chose the South End location due to the “neighborhood” atmosphere that exists in this section of this city. We understand the need for eye care and eyewear service in the neighborhood. Our vision was to have an option for the residents to support a South End business as well as have their visual needs met. Personal service is our signature! Our experienced optometrists can provide you with thorough eye evaluations, determine if you need corrective lenses and your exact prescription strength, fit you with the appropriate specialty eyewear, and help you pick out the most flattering pair of glasses for your face shape and skin tone. Dr. Laura Martin can diagnose and treat eye diseases and identify general eye health problems including diabetes, anemia, high blood pressure, and others.
