Today, we remember the millions of lives lost in the Holocaust and honor the survivors who carry their stories forward. As Elie Wiesel reminds us, “the opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference.” On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we recommit to compassion, understanding, and standing against antisemitism, racism, and all forms of hate. Below are ways to transform remembrance into meaningful action through advocacy, community support, and shared resources.

This Martin Luther King Day, we honor the legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a visionary leader who reminded us that service, justice, and compassion have the power to change the world. In moments of uncertainty, his words continue to guide us: “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” At Casa Esperanza, hope is not an idea—it is action. It shows up in the care we provide, the dignity we protect, and the lives we stand beside every day. This MLK Day, stand with Casa to protect vital care and the communities we serve. Harmful funding cuts put lives at risk, but together, we can respond with compassion and action.
Are you looking for ways to get involved this Day of Service?
