Mindful eating isn’t always about picking the "healthiest" option. It's also about making choices that align with your goals and circumstances.

Choosing a grilled chicken salad is perfect if you’re aiming to stay on track with your health goals and enjoy a nutritious meal. 🥗

But guess what? It’s also mindful to indulge in your favorite pasta dish when you’re celebrating a special moment! 🍝 Balance is key.

Remember, mindful eating is about being present and making conscious decisions that make you feel good. Whether you’re opting for a healthy salad or treating yourself to some pasta, go for what feels right for you in the moment.

What’s your favorite mindful eating choice? Let me know in the comments!

This lesson hit home for me in a way I could never have imagined. A few years ago, my father needed a kidney transplant, and I was a match. Donating one of my kidneys to him was one of the most challenging yet rewarding decisions of my life.

This experience changed my life and underscored the importance of taking care of ourselves and making mindful choices every day.

Every small, positive choice we make today is an investment in our future. Staying active, eating nutritious foods, and caring for our bodies aren’t just acts of self-love; they’re acts of love for the people we care about, too.

My Story

Jeremy Colon is a certified personal trainer, level 1 USA Weightlifting coach, sports performance coach, sports nutritionist, life coach, and founder of Jeremy Colon Enterprises and Second Chance Fitness. On July 31st, 2013, I underwent a kidney transplant surgery where he donated his kidney to his sick father, who was on the verge of death! Since then, life has changed. It was after that moment that I pushed myself to commit more to my health, as well as being in service of others who struggle with theirs.

On November 5th, 2017, I successfully completed the TCS NYC Marathon for Team For Kids which is a group of committed runners who raise funds for New York Road Runners' Youth and Community Services programs while training for major endurance events. I raised $2,620 where the funds provided free or low-cost health and fitness programs to kids who would otherwise have little or no access to regular physical fitness.

On April 16, 2018, I successfully raised over $10,000 as finished the 2018 Boston Marathon for Casa Myrna which offers support services and shelter to Domestic Violence Survivors.
