PCOS is the name most people know, but it doesn’t always capture the full reality of the condition.

That’s where PMOS comes in.

PMOS is the updated name to better reflect that this is a whole-body condition involving hormones, metabolism, and reproductive health—not just ovarian cysts.

The condition itself hasn’t changed, but the language we use is evolving to better match what people actually experience. More accurate wording can help improve understanding, support earlier recognition of symptoms over time, and help people feel more seen in their experiences.

Your care should continue to focus on you as a whole person.
