On July 22nd at 10am, the MA legislature will hear another critical bill to expand menstrual product access in Massachusetts. S.2156/H.3318, The Public Buildings Bill, would require that free accessible menstrual products be provided in:
🚗 The Registry of Motor Vehicles
🏬 The Department Transitional Assistance
🌲 Department of Conservation and Recreation
🏢 The Department Career Services
🏛️ Both state and federal court houses
🎓 Community colleges & state universities

As we fight for access to sexual & repro health at the federal level, we are also working to expand abortion rights and eliminate barriers at the state level. Yesterday, our CEO Dominique Lee, our Chief Medical Officer Dr. Luu Ireland, our policy & legal team, and advocates from across the Commonwealth testified in support of An Act to eliminate barriers and expand abortion access, one of our top state legislative priorities which would eliminate the parental consent law for abortion.

ICYMI: Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, Planned Parenthood, and Planned Parenthood Association of Utah are suing the Trump administration over their attempt to 'defund' Planned Parenthood and block Medicaid patients from using their insurance at Planned Parenthood health centers nationwide.
A federal judge has already issued a temporary order to block the 'defund' provision, and services to MassHealth patients have resumed at PPLM health centers — for now. This fight is far from over.

Trump just signed the "Big, Beautiful Bill" and the impact will be devastating. Over 1.1 million Planned Parenthood patients nationwide will lose access to care, nearly 200 health centers are now at risk of closing, and abortion care will be much harder for everyone, everywhere.
Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts will never give in to those who want to strip people of their fundamental right to decide what to do with their bodies. The fight is just beginning — join us in action.

If you believe every person deserves the right to control their body and shape their future, call your senators to tell them to oppose 'defunding' Planned Parenthood and stripping health care away from millions. We cannot let this bill pass when there is so much on the line.
