Linda Wellness Warrior Coaching I am Linda Wellness Warrior. Wellness Advocate. Yoga Instructor specializing in Resiliency. Linda N. Wells, M.Ed., E-RYT 500 is The Wellness Warrior.

Her mission is to create a wellness rebellion by teaching people how to assert personal agency by reclaiming themselves through adaptable yoga. Recognizing that stress may be an unavoidable part of our lives, Linda draws upon her in-depth study to help her students develop resilience in the face of modern life demands. Linda is incredibly proud of her ability to integrate options, and variations for all abilities, reaching each student where they are and including all those who wish to access and enrich their lives with these practices. To Linda, leading the rebellion is helping others to identify and replace the precursors to burnout with strategies for reclaiming their spirit, full humanity, and live healthier. Through movement, stress-management techniques, philosophy, meditation, and breathwork from yoga and allied sciences, Linda accesses methods across a broad spectrum of fields to help restore balance. Youth and Teens are more stressed than ever studies suggest that American children are more stressed than ever. Suicides among adolescents have quadrupled since the 1950s. In one major study, only 36 percent of 7th graders agreed with the statement “I am happy with my life;” and in the past decade, the use of pharmaceuticals to treat emotional disorders has increased 68 percent for girls, and 30 percent for boys.

Our Story

Instead of Depression, I chose Wellness. I am Linda “Wellness Warrior” Wells. I am a seeker of Wellness through Yoga, Food, and Fun. I am a Coach, Speaker, Yoga Teacher, Resilience Trainer, and the Wellness Warrior. I provide yoga instruction, stress education, and relaxation solutions. Her methods incorporate a mind, body, and spirit approach to igniting and maintaining your own inner warrior. This lap of my wellness journey began in 2011 when I left my job of 4.5 years after burning out. I was a Program Director serving in a youth and community agency. We were deep in the recession, youth programs were closing in the midst of a spike in youth violence and murders in the City of Boston. I observed my youth, colleagues, and myself on life support. No one was being empowered or encouraged to take care of their own well-being. As a community, we were in survival mode and suffering from health inequities i.e. depression, obesity, and post-traumatic stress. It was as if one day, I woke, realizing I was over 220 lbs, lonely, burnt-out, and miserable. I started exercising. I also started experimenting with various meal plans and replacing habits that were no longer serving me with healthier choices. I have since lost nearly 40lbs and have helped my clients collectively lose [release] over 200 lbs. We are healthier and happier; getting closer to achieving optimal health and well-being thanks to our new healthy active lifestyles, not a diet.
