2 patterns I see over and over in 🏳️‍🌈 men - in dating ❤️ fitness 💪🏼 and lifestyle🌴…

🫣 Avoidant men
Dodge clarity.
Then blame or make excuses when confronted.

Not because they don’t understand —
but because they don’t want to feel the temporary discomfort of change.

They’d rather stay familiar than become who they’re meant to be.
Their blessing lives on the other side of accountability.

😬 Anxious men
Forecast fake problems.
Then create extra work trying to prevent them.

They don’t trust the present moment,
so they armor up in advance…
or people-please their way out of conflict.

They don’t realize one of the cleanest exits is non-engagement and boundaries.

They believe other people’s perception is their most valuable asset.

It isn’t.

Their time and energy are. 💫

So they chase mirrors instead of setting the tone for reflection.

🫵🏻 Not everything is either “self-love” or “self-harm.”
There are more aligned ways and less aligned ways to do almost anything — including PE.Ds. 🧬

Some guys don’t need them.
Some do — to express a vision they already feel inside. 🔥

This isn’t about pretending there’s zero risk. ❌
It’s about understanding that intention matters. 👀

If something is used from fear, lack, or comparison — it usually backfires. 💥

If something is used from clarity, self-trust, and alignment — it becomes an extension of self-respect. 🧠✨

Judgment can’t see that difference.
Alignment can. 💫

P.E.Ds ⚙️ aren’t a crutch. But most 🏳️‍🌈 guys use them like one.

Here’s the pattern I see over and over in my DMs 👇

1️⃣ They can’t name what they actually want.
It starts with vague goals like:
“Just want to fill out a t-shirt.” 👕
Nothing specific. Nothing owned.

2️⃣ Then the fear shows up and distorts the goal.
“I don’t want to look like Mr. Olympia.”
Meanwhile, they’re not anywhere near that yet. 👀

“I just want to gain a little size and be a bit leaner.”
But the photo they send looks like someone who’s been competing for years. 😱

If they weren’t afraid to name it, they’d state their goal directly.
Instead, they reach for extremes or soften it down — anything except clearly claiming what they actually want. 💬

So the real issue isn’t the goal.
It’s the anxiety around defining it.😬

3️⃣ Lately, they don’t even come to me for training or nutrition.
They go straight for the P.E.Ds — instead of acknowledging the gaps in consistency, strategy/structure, habits, and self-concept that actually drive results.

4️⃣ They hope P.E.Ds will accelerate things… without upgrading their system.
They treat enhancement like magic instead of a multiplier. 🪄

It’s like strapping a mini rocket to your car. 🚗 🚀
Sure — it might move faster for a moment.
But without brakes, steering, and structure, it usually ends catastrophically. ⚠️⛔️

5️⃣ I lay out the real priorities & process — tailored to the person:
tracking workouts / macros / calories 📊
or boundaries around time, energy, and attention 🚧
or recovery 😴
or motivation and discipline 🏋️
or emotional ownership 🧠

(Not everyone needs everything — but everyone needs something here.)

6️⃣ That’s usually when it gets quiet.
Survey not filled.
Call not booked.
Nervous system exit.

Here’s the reframe:

P.E.Ds don’t beat discipline — they amplify whatever system you already have.
No system = amplified chaos. ☢️

It’s not about motivation.
It’s about ownership.🤝

I’m rehashing this same pattern over and over from different angles so you guys get this since it’s VERY prevent lately in my audience.

I’m not saying external solutions are bad or not to use them.

I’m saying, things often work out better for you when you improve your habits (which are formed by your belief systems) as well.

The fastest solution is not always the most effective.

Rio 🇧🇷 didn’t give me 🏳️‍🌈 an escape — it elevated my standards 🥇

I didn’t go in perfect shape.
I didn’t have extra money sitting around.
I had acne, low energy, and nothing fully planned.

And I went anyway. ✈️

What surprised me wasn’t just how fun it was —
it was how much it recalibrated me. 📏

I stopped trying to optimize every day and started living in waves:
long days, long rest, simple priorities.
Not “what can I squeeze in?”
Just: what does today actually need? 👌🏼

Connecting with guys at parties felt easier.
Guys felt more present….& definitely so many hot men! 🔥

Maybe it’s because everyone’s on vacation.
Maybe it’s the vibe in Rio.
Maybe it’s because I felt more of my type there — so I could move on faster to guys who felt clearer and warmer.

I mentioned that to a guy I met in Rio & asked him about Americans

He told me Americans are known for being cold. 🥶
I was interested to hear his perspective.

Whatever it was, I just felt more welcome connecting there than I usually do going out in the U.S. 🇺🇸

But the biggest shift?

My standards upgraded. 🔥

Before Rio, my goal was: can I even make it this year?
After Rio, it became: next year, why not New Year’s through Carnival? 😍

If I hadn’t gone, next year’s goal might just be a week or so.
Because I did go, I now know more clearly what I wants next.

Same with money.

Instead of seeing the trip as a drain, it anchored something new:
this is the level of life I get to live & get paid effortlessly to sustain.

Sometimes you don’t need more discipline.
Sometimes you need an experience that expands your baseline. 💫

I came home sick, tired…
but…lighter.

Focused on today.
Less stacking.
More presence.
