The Me2 Flute Choir will be featured in a special performance prior to the ’s CONCERT FOR THE CITY on Wed Sept 17 — and free tickets were just released on BSO.org! Reserve your seats now before they sell out.

Conductor Eileen Yarrison will lead this fabulous 25-member ensemble in a performance from 5:45-6:15 pm in the Oblock-Kay Room in the foyer of Boston Symphony Hall. We hope to see you there!

We are pleased to welcome Caroline Wittschen to our staff as Me2’s Director of Operations in Boston. Caroline comes to us with a background in the financial services industry, where she has worked in trading operations, client relationship management, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Me2, she served as Director of Marketing and Communications for the Boston Civic Symphony, and she continues to lead projects with the Boston Symphony Association of Volunteers. She has also participated in leadership development programs through the League of American Orchestras.

Caroline is an amateur violinist with a lifelong love of classical music. She is passionate about helping people build a meaningful connection to classic music and believes in its power to build community and foster healing. She is committed to breaking down cultural, social, and perceived barriers that make classical music feel inaccessible, and creating spaces where everyone can feel a sense of belonging.

Congratulations to the members of Me2 Orchestra on a fabulous performance in Middlebury VT last night! We had a great audience and they had interesting questions during the Q&A session. Me2’s Flute Choir Festival was epic, with 40 flutists coming together for an afternoon of playing together in a Stigma-Free Zone. Guest conductors Doug Worthen and Earl Lawrence led fabulous sessions, and Me2 Flute Choir conductor Eileen Yarrison made great music while master-minding the entire day! Huge thanks to Flutistry for supporting this event, and to Central Congregational for providing this fabulous space!
