A focus of MR3B is to educate and inform our community about our responsibility to vote and what that means. Right now is a crucial time to get everyone to complete the Census2020. Check out our 'HOOD' Facts post; we mention some truths about the Census. Don't be deceived. Everyone can complete the form without fear of getting in some kind of trouble.
On July 11th we plan to do a Voter/Census Pop Up to get out into the community and educate residents. Please share this flyer, encourage those who have not registered to vote or completed the Census to come see us.
You will get a FREE ice cream cone!

Beacon of Hope Foundation will host Saturday sessions teaching our youth ages 8yrs to 15yrs life skills for our spring and Sumer programming. These practical life skills will be tools they can use throughout their life to help them grow, learn and overcome challenges. We also believe it will provide confidence and increase self-esteem. Knowledge is power and our youth are powerful! We will meet at Full Life Gospel Center, 183 Norfolk St. Dorchester; the 2nd & 3rd Saturdays starting in May, from 2:00p to 3:30p. We are also looking for volunteers to help with the program. Please fill out the form at the link below to give us more information about your youth and your participation.
For more information, send us message here on Facebook or call Tara at 617-858-0813.

Community resource

To truly have an impact on improving safety in our neighborhoods, we need to come together consistently, create safe spaces for all, share resources, and take action as a community. That's what we'll do at our next public safety meeting on Feb 9 at the Frederick School!
At our meeting in November, we heard above all that folks wanted better access to mental health care resources. This meeting will focus on that. All are welcome to participate in shaping the conversation and connecting with others doing work to increase access to mental health services and other resources!

PCCO provides care packages to every mom or family that experiences the loss of a child in the pregnancy or infant stage that is reported to us. The first care package is free and includes materials to aide in healing.
