If you’re anything like me, summer time in Boston is the perfect time to lounge by the pool and watch my two kiddos paddle to and fro and NOT complain about the heat.

If you’re also like me, you hate everything about chlorine, even though you know its necessary.

So what’s the deal with chlorine and hair? Well, it’s not GREAT for hair. So if you (or your kiddo) need to be in the pool but want to mayne-tain your hair, here are some tips:
        💯Wash off that chlorine with a quick shower immediately after the pool
        💯Braiding before the pool or a swim meet to keep the hair from getting tangled while in the pool
        💯Conditioner in the hair before coming in contact with chlorine to prevent chlorine from penetrating the hairs strand and causing breakage
        💯Using chlorine neutralizing treatments like Malibu C to prevent chlorine damage
