JANUARY WORKSHOP ALERT ‼️
Leading into the New Year we have a really exciting lineup of workshops with BYU faculty and Guest Teachers!
First up, Emily Peterson
Join Emily Peterson for a special two-hour workshop weaving Yin Yoga, somatic opening, micro-dose breathwork, and guided manifestation questions. This experience blends the soft, cooling waters of Yin with the activating spark of breath and intention—an alchemical dance between fire and ice, Yin and Yang, rest and ignition.
A long time friend to the BYU Community David Vendetti
Step into the new year with intention and ease. Starting with a slow-flow vinyasa class that offers a grounding, conscious, and deeply connected experience designed to build a strong foundation from the inside out. Move with freedom as you align your physical and energetic body, cultivate core strength, and explore postures with mindful attention and presence.
Session 2 is a deep tissue massage that will educate practitioners on self care, break through to new levels of flexibility, and brighten and invigorate the soul!
Last but not least J Brown
This workshop takes us deep into the practice and philosophy behind J. Brown’s slow and strong, powerfully intimate, breath-centered therapeutic yoga teaching. Inspired by the T Krishnamacharya (“the teacher of teachers”) and TKV Desikachar tradition, J has codified 20+ years of teaching experience into a singularly healing yoga practice that adapts to individual needs.
This is J’s signature offering that he has given to thousands of teachers and students around the world. His approach emphasizes breath before poses, simplicity and attention over striving and achievement, and is geared towards reducing stress and a lessening of pain.
We hope to see you on the mat for these incredibly enriching offerings!
