Our Story
Dr. DeRosa comes from a family of Medical Doctors (thirteen of them, to be exact), being a third generation physician herself.
Since as far as back as she remembers, Jaimie was fascinated with medicine making house calls with her grandfather in New Jersey or visiting her ophthalmologist father's operating room in upstate New York, and she attributes her lifelong desire to heal and make peoples' lives better to those early childhood experiences.Since early childhood years she has also been interested in architecture and interior design, clipping interesting articles and pictures of shapes and colors from Architectural Digest and following her favorite designer, Victoria Hagen, all through the college up until now.It is by no coincidence that Dr. DeRosa's two lifelong passions resulted into becoming a Facial Plastic Surgeon-a specialist, who's artistic eye is seamlessly marrying her impeccable technical skills to produce incredible cosmetic results.
Dr. DeRosa transcends her love of medicine through her compassionate care to solve most difficult problems to the highest patient satisfaction.Born and raised in upstate New York, Dr. DeRosa received her MS in Biology at the University of Virginia and her MD at the SUNY at Buffalo, graduating top of her class. She then proceeded to receive her surgical training at Boston University Medical School and sought-after Fellowship training at the University of Chicago under mentorship of Dr. Dean Toriumi, the most acclaimed Facial Plastic Surgeon in the world. She started practicing in 2005 and entered private practice in 2013 successfully combining a private practice and academic career ever since.
