This is my favorite quote and it got me through some pretty difficult times. This is why I love positive quotes and affirmations. They can anchor you at times when you feel adrift. When you are wanting to hear a “yes” so badly, but all you get is a “no”.
Sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck. It’s an opportunity for growth you would have otherwise missed. And because of that growth something better, a different door- opens up.
I am so grateful for this quote and use it and share it in my practice and now with you!

Struggling with negative thoughts? Next time you are having negative thoughts, check the facts. Just because you think something does not mean it’s true. If your BFF was going through the same challenge, would you be talking to them like you are to yourself? My guess is probably not! Challenge your negative thoughts by going through this worksheet. At the very end, notice it asks you, “what would you tell your best friend?” Whatever you’d tell them, now say to yourself on repeat. Keep track of your mood for a week as you do this. Notice any improvements? You might be surprised!
