Deep squat… even when you just launched an app, you’re running on no sleep, took a chaotic little trip to NYC to handle life, and get back to Boston like “oh hey here’s some snow” 😂

I don’t wanna hear it.

The busier life gets, the MORE you need to deep squat.

I’ve literally never felt this stiff… and guess what? Still dropped into a squat. Multiple times. In public. With the side-eyes and all 👀

Thank God I couldn’t care less what people think.
You’re embarrassed. I’m mobile.

Why I love daily hangs ↓

Accessible. Effective. No fancy setup just like the resting deep squat it gets overlooked because it’s “simple”.

After ONE month of daily hangs, here’s what my clients and I noticed:

✨ Stronger - hands don’t stop hurting but thy take longer to hurt so I’ll take it 😂😭
✨ back decompression (feels good especially after a long day of sitting)
✨ More mid-back + shoulder mobility ( who doesn’t love and need this?)
✨Better overhead movement
✨ More presence + body awareness

And before you say…

“I can’t even hold it for a minute. Let alone 2.”

Good. Start there.

One of my clients started at 3 x 20 seconds.

Then we build up to 3 x 45 seconds.

Next stop? 3 x 1 minute.

I’m still building hang too, so you don’t need to hang for 2 minutes straight but accumulating that throughout a training session is totally feasible and will help you build the resilience.

Simple doesn’t mean easy. It means effective.

unfortunately, I like my training intense — like fighting for my life under a barbell or casually logging long miles for fun lol 😂

Whatever you wanna call this… hybrid? 🫡😅 sure, I’ll take it!

Yeah, I could do a a strawberry matcha here and there but let’s be clear: nothing happens before my sacred morning coffee ☕️🫡

And don’t worry — Pilates will make an appearance in my training split at some point… but I’m not trading my chaos for it. Maybe an add on? 🫡
