The Office of Behavioral Health Promotion and Prevention (OBHPP) is excited to announce the release of our Notice of Intent (NOI) for upcoming grant opportunities to support behavioral health promotion and prevention efforts across Massachusetts.

Over the past year, the office conducted a statewide landscape analysis, issued an RFI with 51 responses, and held community listening sessions with 189 participants across all six regions. These activities helped shape the grant program’s focus areas, which center on strengthening community wellbeing across the lifespan—addressing social isolation, caregiver and family stress, early childhood and maternal mental health, immigrant mental health, upstream youth intervention, and family and intimate partner violence.

To call today’s Taunton State Hospital Farmer’s Market a success would be an understatement! Thanks to for visiting, to NAMI Bristol County and the MassHelpline team for sharing vital resources with visitors, and to the team at Taunton State Hospital that made this happen!
Stay tuned for the date of the next one (hopefully this fall). Plants and flowers grown on site in our greenhouse and open to the public! Proceeds support programs on ground at the hospital.
