Hi, I’m Regan

I believe in the power of being truly heard — and that healing begins when we feel safe enough to explore our story with honesty and without judgment.

My approach is collaborative, transparent, and grounded in authenticity. I walk alongside my clients as they navigate challenges within themselves and in their relationships.

I work with individuals, particularly young adults moving through: depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and life transitions

My work is rooted in a client-centered and person-in-environment perspective, helping you understand not just what you’re feeling — but how your experiences and context have shaped it.

I’m particularly drawn to exploring: personal narratives, identity development, emotional patterns, and the ways our stories influence how we see ourselves and the world

I believe storytelling is a powerful tool for healing — and that being able to share your story with someone who truly honors it can be transformative.

I’m honored to support you as you make sense of your experiences and move toward healing and growth.

Not all therapy is the same.
And not every approach works for everyone.

That’s why understanding your options matters.

At Be Heard, we use different types of therapy because your experiences, your mind, and your story are unique.

Some approaches help you understand your past.
Others focus on changing patterns in the present.

Some work through the body.
Others through thoughts and emotions.

And just like physical training, this is a process.

It takes consistency.
It takes effort.
But it creates real, lasting change.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
That’s what we’re here for.

Not sure where to start? We’ll guide you. 🤍

This month, we’re talking about the things we usually keep inside.

The quiet thoughts.
The feelings we don’t know how to explain.
The moments we tell ourselves “it’s not that bad.”

But mental health isn’t just about crisis.
And you don’t have to wait until it is.

Save this for when you need the reminder or share it with someone who might need it🤍

How you relax vs how you actually relax...
But this is not rest… it just looks like it.

We say we’re “relaxing” but we’re still: scrolling, consuming, overthinking.

Your body might be still — but your mind is still running.
And that’s why you can spend hours “resting”… and still feel exhausted.

Real rest feels different.
It’s slower. Quieter. Less stimulating.
(and yes… sometimes a bit uncomfortable at first)

Next time you need to recharge…
try something that actually lets your mind slow down 🤍

And be honest… which one are you?

04/22/2026

You don’t need more stimulation. You probably need less.

We live in a world that keeps our nervous system constantly “on” —
scrolling, switching, reacting, consuming.
And after a while, your body forgets what calm even feels like.

That’s where nature comes in.
Not as a quick fix. Not as another task.
But as a quiet reset.

A few minutes outside can:
– slow your breathing
– release built-up tension
– bring you back to the present

Without pressure.
Without effort.

Sometimes regulation isn’t about doing more. It’s about stepping away long enough to feel yourself again.

Take this as your sign to go outside today 🌿
(even if it’s just for a few minutes)

04/15/2026

No, you don’t need a full reset.
You probably just need… this. 🤍

We tend to overcomplicate regulation.
But your nervous system responds to small, consistent signals of safety — not big, perfect routines.

Stepping outside for a few minutes, breathing a little slower, putting your phone down (yes, really), drinking some water…

Nothing groundbreaking.
But surprisingly effective.

Not glamorous. Not aesthetic.
But it works.

Save this for the days when everything feels like too much 🤍

Does therapy work?
Well… does personal training work?

Both can change your life.
But neither works if you don’t show up.

You don’t build strength by going once.
You don’t build emotional resilience by talking about it once.

It takes:
– repetition
– honesty
– discomfort
– trying again (even when it’s hard)

Some sessions will feel powerful.
Others will feel like nothing happened.

But something is happening.
Little by little.

Therapy isn’t a quick fix.
It’s a process you participate in and you don’t have to do it alone 🤍

Hi, I’m Rick.

I believe that what is most personal is also most universal. At our core, we all share a common humanity and a desire to live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

How we integrate our life experiences — the painful and the joyful — deeply shapes our capacity to live fully. Through emotional vulnerability, we begin to face life’s difficulties with more clarity, reconnect with who we truly are, and move beyond the limits imposed by fear and sadness.

Over the years, I’ve supported many individuals who felt stuck or overwhelmed in identifying their needs and taking steady, meaningful steps toward a more balanced life. My background as a former chaplain and high school athletic coach has shaped my approach in powerful ways — grounded, relational, and rooted in encouragement and growth.

I meet each client with empathy, steadiness, and a genuine commitment to their well-being. Therapy is not about rushing change — it’s about walking alongside you as you strengthen your sense of purpose and improve the quality of your life.

Stress can feel intense — but there’s still energy behind it.

Burnout feels different.
It feels empty.

Knowing the difference can help you respond earlier — before your system forces you to stop.

We can help you 🤍

Emotional well-being rarely comes from luck. 🍀

It comes from awareness, regulation, support, and sometimes learning tools that help your nervous system respond differently to stress.

Luck may help you find a four-leaf clover.
Emotional balance usually comes from practice.

Green doesn’t regulate your nervous system.
Tools do. 😉
