Meet Our Intern: Kailyn Love

Kailyn is a senior at Milton Academy. She will be interning at Endurance in May, and is excited to learn about teaching, studio management, and marketing. Her passion for Pilates came from her love for movement and well-being. She is a member of her school's varsity cross-country and golf teams, so she uses Pilates to improve strength, mobility, and flexibility. She's excited to bring her passion to Endurance!

Q. What inspired you to start Pilates?
I began attending Pilates classes because I wanted another form of movement, movement that offered a welcoming, supportive community that I didn't often find in traditional gyms.

Q. Why Endurance Pilates & Yoga?
When I came across Endurance Pilates & Yoga, I was excited. Seeing the supportive community and individualized care felt so inviting, ultimately leading me to reach out to continue to promote wellness, inclusivity, and a passion for mindful movement.

Q. Outside of Pilates, what are some of your hobbies?
Outside of Pilates, I like to stay active in other ways, such as tennis, golf, weightlifting, and running! I enjoy baking healthy, protein-packed desserts like my homemade protein bars. I also love spending time with my friends at the beach or traveling with my family and friends.

Q. How has Pilates changed the way you think about fitness or wellness?
I think that Pilates has taught me that movement comes in many forms; all movement is good movement. I've also learned that everyone has different preferences and abilities, so creating an inviting community that educates and encourages a wide variety of individuals is exciting.

Q. What do you hope to learn during your time at Endurance?
I hope to learn about marketing, business management, social media, and pilates instructing. I hope to build a foundation of knowledge that I can apply in future occupations. Additionally, I intend to learn effective teaching strategies through diverse teaching styles, as I aspire to teach classes and continue promoting wellness.

Jack Eichel, center and alternate captain for the Vegas Golden Knights, has been a long-time client of Endurance Pilates, working with Julie Erickson since 2016.

Congratulations to Jack and the U.S. Men’s Hockey Team on winning Olympic gold at the 2026 Winter Games — securing a 2-1 overtime victory over Canada in the final and bringing home the top podium spot for the first time since 1980. 🇺🇸🥇

Classical vs. Contemporary Pilates 🤍

Both approaches are rooted in the same foundational principles — control, precision, breath, and alignment.

Classical Pilates follows the original system and sequencing created by Joseph Pilates. Contemporary Pilates builds on that foundation, incorporating modern movement science and thoughtful adaptations.

At Endurance, we value intentional movement — meeting each body where it is while honoring the integrity of the method.

There isn’t a “right” or “wrong” approach. What matters most is moving with purpose.

Most people don’t need to be pushed harder.
They need to be understood better.

Tightness is often protection.
Weakness is often compensation.
Fatigue is often nervous system overload.

At Endurance, we don’t chase burn.
