Q: What inspired you to start Classical Pilates?
My introduction began at La Scala Academy, within classical ballet. What started to support performance became a system to understand the body. It remained throughout my professional dance career and into teaching today.
Q: Why Boston?
We moved to Boston two years ago for work and it has become a meaningful chapter for our family. I became a mother and grown to love this city. I’ve found a Pilates community here that is inspiring as I continue to grow as an instructor.
Q: How would you describe your teaching style?
My style is rooted in my classical ballet background, but delivered in a warm and supportive way. I like to challenge my clients to go beyond while maintaining attention to detail. My goal is to create lasting progress in strength and awareness.
Q: How has Pilates changed the way you think about movement or wellness?
I learned true strength is about control, precision, and moving intelligently. It changed how I approach life, bringing awareness into how I move and take care of myself. I guide clients through mindful practice where progress comes from quality and consistency.
Q: What is your favorite Pilates exercise and why?
My favorites are the Short Spine Massage and the Teaser. They challenge the body—requiring control, precision, and flow. For me, they represent what Classical Pilates is: strength, coordination, and elegance working together.
Q: Outside of Pilates, what are some of your hobbies?
My happiest moments are with my family. I feel recharged near the sea, and I love traveling. Movement has always been a part of my life, but so has exploring the world around me.
