So thankful to the many SLPs who made yesterday an absolute joy! I love thinking with SLPs about how to improve our service delivery and workloads in ways that help us practice at the top of the license. The work you do with children who have speech sound disorders is making an important different in their lives and in the world. Thank you Boston Children's Hospital, Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Enhancement!!!

Meet the lab Monday!! Meet Finley Linehan (she/ her).

Finley is an undergraduate student at Florida State University, and a Communication Science and Disorders major. Passionate about speech and language research, Finley is excited to be a research assistant on the APPLES (Academic Progress in Phonological Learning in Elementary School) project. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in the lab, Finley is an active member of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) and Best Buddies, demonstrating a commitment to both academic growth and community engagement.

Her favorite children's books are Goodnight Moon and Pinkalicious!

Meet the lab Mondays! Meet Delaney Taylor. She is the lead RA for the APPLES project.

Delaney is an undergraduate in the school of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University, interested in working as a pediatric speech-language pathologist after graduate school. Delaney is also pursuing her Interdepartmental Developmental Disabilities certification and is working towards induction into the American Sign Language Honor Society.

Her favorite children's book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff
