This is so important for us OTs and our clients! Tell Congress they must act now to protect access to therapy services. Please call your elected representatives today and tell them to stop the therapy cap once and for all.

On January 1st, 2018, a cap on Medicare outpatient therapy services will go into effect if Congress fails to act. Absent Congressional action, no beneficiary will be able to receive Medicare Part B therapy services once they reach a cap of $2,010 for occupational therapy services and a cap of $2,010...

The Senate will finalize its tax reform bill as soon as the first few days of the week after Thanksgiving. Urge your Senator to protect access to higher education for all students by preventing any provisions that would make it more difficult for students to pay for undergraduate and graduate education.

Last year I visited the Living Museum, an art museum run almost entirely by patients at an outpatient psychiatric facility in New York. "The Living Museum, founded in 1983 by Bolek Greczynski...feels like a beehive of beautiful, sometimes unfiltered minds. Housed in what was the Creedmoor kitchen hall, it has a crumbling, gothic quality and nurtures scores of mostly outpatient artists who can be hard to distinguish from the counselors who work with them."
