Boston College EMS

Boston College EMS Boston College EMS is a student-run, all-volunteer, quick response, emergency medical service that has served the Boston College community since 1997.

We provide Basic Life Support (BLS) care, through highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), at numerous school-sponsored events and functions. Additionally, in early 2012, Boston College EMS added a Class V non-transporting ambulance to our coverage. The ambulance is operated 7 days a week and responds to all campus emergencies. We also are responsible for running various training courses in CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Medical Education, and promote EMS awareness and campus safety to the entire university community.

🎉Member of the Month Alert🎉 Congrats to our September Member of the Month- 🚨Luke🚨 Luke went above and beyond in his role as CPR coordinator during this application cycle. He held countless CPR class, including several one-on-ones, just to make sure that everybody who needed a certification could get one. Under his leadership, we certified 53 people in BLS CPR in the past few weeks, 12 more than last year! He is also incredibly kind and appreciative to all of the CPR instructors, even bringing them donuts!

NO HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- we will teach you all you need to know!!
