Finding the right support during pregnancy can change everything. Not just in how your birth unfolds, but in how you feel moving through it.

Doulas offer something unique: continuous presence, steady guidance, and care that isn’t rushed or fragmented.

It’s not about telling you what to do. It’s about helping you understand your options, trust your body, and feel supported in the choices that matter to you.

We love Tara and Susanna of Boston Community Doulas. The kind of care they show their clients will stay with you well beyond birth.

If you’re building your support team, Boston Community Doulas is a beautiful place to start. Explore their work and see if it feels like the right fit for you:

If you’ve tried a pregnancy support belt and thought, “This isn’t helping”... you’re not alone.

Support in pregnancy isn’t one-size-fits-all. The type, placement, and timing all matter and the wrong setup can feel bulky, uncomfortable, or just ineffective.

When we look a little deeper, it’s not just about adding support, it’s about where your body needs it most and how it’s currently managing load. That’s why we take an individualized approach, combining external support with how your body moves and adapts. Relief often comes from the right combination - not just one tool.

Not sure what kind of support would actually help? Let’s figure it out together. Reach out to book a session.

A lot of people are told pelvic pain in pregnancy is just part of the process.

But when we slow down and listen, pain is usually giving us useful information - not something to dismiss.

It can point to imbalance, overload, or a need for more coordinated support across your system. And when we understand why it’s happening, we can actually do something about it.

If something feels off, let’s explore it together. Reach out to get started.

There’s a lot of information out there around pregnancy - especially when it comes to what your body is “supposed” to feel like.

Advice gets passed along quickly. And over time, some of it starts to sound like fact. But your experience isn’t something to measure against generalizations. It’s something to understand more deeply. Take a moment to explore some common pregnancy myths and the truths that bring more clarity.

Reach out or book a session, we’re here to walk through your pregnancy with you.

So many people spend years being told their pain is “just part of being a woman.”

It’s often said casually, but it can shape how long someone waits before asking deeper questions.

Painful periods. Pelvic discomfort. Pain with intimacy. GI symptoms that don’t quite add up. These aren’t isolated issues; they can be connected in ways that are easy to overlook without the time and space to really listen. Conditions like endometriosis are complex, and they don’t always follow a clear or predictable pattern. That’s why a more thoughtful, whole-person approach matters.

When care includes both clinical understanding and curiosity about your lived experience, different answers and different options can start to emerge.

If something has been dismissed or unexplained for a while, it’s worth revisiting. We’re here when you’re ready to have that conversation.

Pain with intimacy can feel confusing, frustrating, and at times, isolating. For many people, it’s not something that’s openly talked about - which can make it even harder to know what’s normal or where to turn.

The truth is, pelvic pain during s*x can have many different contributing factors. Sometimes it’s related to muscle tension or sensitivity. Other times, it may be influenced by hormonal changes, tissue health, or how the nervous system is responding to pain.
And while occasional discomfort can happen, ongoing pain is not something your body expects you to ignore.

Pelvic floor therapy is one way to start understanding what’s driving your symptoms. Together, we look at the full picture - not just the area of pain - so you can move toward intimacy that feels more comfortable and supportive.

If you’re dealing with this kind of discomfort, you don’t have to figure it out alone - we’re here to support you.

We’re growing our Boston-based pelvic health team - Again!

We’re seeking a full-time pelvic floor therapist with a minimum of two years of pelvic health experience who wants to practice in a way that feels unrushed, relationship-centered, and deeply human.

At Wellest, clinicians are given the time, trust, and autonomy to care for the whole person. We offer one-on-one, hour-long sessions, meaningful mentorship, and a calm, collaborative environment where curiosity, presence, and clinical integrity are valued.

If you’re drawn to care that is gentle, rooted, and deeply intentional - and want to feel supported as a whole person at work - we’d love to hear from you!

Please submit your resume and cover letter to hello@wellesthealth.com or visit our website for more information.

Flowers are nice… but lasting healing? Even better.

If you’re looking for a meaningful gift for a new mom, someone recovering postpartum, or anyone navigating pelvic floor challenges, a gift card for pelvic floor therapy is a thoughtful way to say: I see you, and your healing matters.

Pelvic floor therapy can support everything from core strength and bladder control to postpartum recovery and overall confidence. It’s care that goes deeper than the surface - and often something people don’t think to invest in for themselves.

Call us today to give the gift of support, strength, and healing.

Staying hydrated hits different when you’re postpartum and breastfeeding - because it’s not just about drinking water, it’s about actually absorbing it.

Electrolytes help a person better absorb the water they are intaking and can be very helpful with managing constipation postpartum. LMNT packages include sodium, magnesium, and potassium making it an ideal solution for hydration.

We’re always recommending LMNT to our patients - and drinking it ourselves, too!
