☕ Coffee, Conversation & Cross-Stitching ☕
Our sewing circle gathered this week for a beautiful afternoon of creating Easter-themed string art! With a little guidance, a warm cup of coffee, and good company, our residents crafted stunning designs – from colorful eggs to intricate patterns.
It's amazing how the hands remember what the heart holds dear. Many of our residents recalled the needlework and crafting skills their grandmothers taught them years ago. Those memories came flowing back as they threaded yarn through each carefully placed hole, creating something beautiful and meaningful.
Dementia may change many things, but it's remarkable how muscle memory and long-held skills can resurface with just a gentle reminder and encouragement. Each stitch is a connection to cherished moments from the past, brought to life again in the present.
From simple designs to elaborate masterpieces, every piece tells a story – and every smile reminds us why we do what we do. ❤️

Somebunny has been crafting!
Our residents got creative this week with adorable paper plate bunny crafts! Each bunny has its own unique personality – just like the wonderful people who made them.
From cheerful smiles to those signature floppy ears, everyone enjoyed bringing these little critters to life. It's amazing what a little creativity, a paper plate, and good company can create!
