Certified hand therapists are known in the medical community as the best source of treatment for upper extremity concerns. CHTs are familiar with advanced surgical techniques and post-operative programs making them the preferred providers for post-surgical therapy. They are highly skilled in evaluating self- care/activities of daily living, work tasks and hobby activities utilizing their knowledge of the intricate functional anatomy of the upper extremity.
