The Burnett Center provides classes to support social, recreational & skill building opportunities for adults (18+) with autism or other developmental disabilities. Our program and classes take into account diverse strengths and are organized into different levels (Level I, II and III) to better place adults among peers with similar interests and skills. Classes are suited for people who:
• Have autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities
• Are age 18 or older (students in a high school transition program are welcome)
• Want to take part in a supportive community of peers
• Want to build skills that promote independence, or engage in activities for socialization

Seattle Children’s Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center opened in January of 2014 to help meet the ever-growing needs of adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities as they transition out of the education system. The Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center offers year-round classes, activities and events providing social, recreational, independent living skill-building and vocational training opportunities for adults age 18 or older.

Big thanks to the PNW ARMY! 💜

We’re proud to announce a new partnership between the Alyssa Burnett Center and a dedicated group of BTS fans in the Pacific Northwest—PNW ARMY—who are working to create a named fund for music therapy in honor of Min Yoongi (SUGA of BTS).

This project brings the spirit of the Min Yoongi Treatment Center to life in our local community, supporting adults with autism and developmental disabilities through the power of music therapy.
Our center was selected through collaboration with local experts and potential donors for our strong governance, therapeutic model, and commitment to meaningful care.
