Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Tennis, QBs, Cricket, any overhead sport. Here are two important tests for optimal throwing both as it relates to velocity and injury. The muscles that rotate your arm forward are like the gas and those that rotate back are like the brakes. The stronger both are, generally the harder you will throw or hit. They also have ideal ratios of one to the other.
This is one of the tests used for overhead athletes that gives us an exact pounds of force applied in each direction to guide a treatment plan or make suggestions to the athlete.
