We will occasionally get asked about memberships to use the facility as a gym. We like to keep it to where it doesn’t get overly crowded. Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Tennis, QBs, Cricket, any overhead sport. Here are two important tests for optimal throwing both as it relates to velocity and injury. The muscles that rotate your arm forward are like the gas and those that rotate back are like the brakes. The stronger both are, generally the harder you will throw or hit. They also have ideal ratios of one to the other.

This is one of the tests used for overhead athletes that gives us an exact pounds of force applied in each direction to guide a treatment plan or make suggestions to the athlete.

ACL, Meniscus, MCL, any knee or lower body surgery in an athlete: Return to sport testing is performed before returning to gameplay. Here are a few of the tests performed. The goal is to have the surgical leg perform at a level of at least 90% of the non surgical leg. This video doesn’t include all of the tests and Jarrett is performing them at sub maximal intensity(not trying to have any injuries for the sake of a video). Single leg load acceptance off of a box. Single leg broad jump for distance. Triple crossover jump for distance. 6 meter timed single leg hop test. Single leg vertical jump test. Change of direction in a variety of ways to make sure that the athlete is picking appropriate positions, angles and avoiding compensation.

I think most healthcare providers do a great job of treating patients like human beings. But, being on the other side(patient not provider) of it is always a good reminder of why we try to consider the patient as a person and not just a body part.

Walking into a workout facility or gym as an adult is similar to walking into a new lunch room as a student in school. It can be intimidating and you don’t really have your “spot” picked out beside your friends, so to speak.

Some folks don’t have the desire to exercise. Some are already exercising and have found their niche. If you’re in the middle and want to start, but are also a little unsure of if you can do it, please feel free to reach out to us by message or email or however is easiest for you.

Maybe it won’t be your thing. But, maybe it’s what you’ve been looking for and just haven’t found yet.

Reminder that you have a week left to earn free classes! Get your friends to join in for their first free class too. You can earn more than 2 free classes depending on how many new people you bring! Come join the fun. 💪

This is for our current class members for Adult Training, Mom’s class and Fit over 50! ✨ as a thank you for joining in these classes with us, and especially to those who have been with us and continued these classes since the beginning!

• If you’d like to earn ⚡️2 FREE CLASSES⚡️ this will be for EACH new friend you bring for the remainder of July classes starting on Monday! These new friends have to have never came to any class before!

• You could earn a decent amount of classes if you get those friends you’ve been trying to talk into coming to try out a class!

☀️ Adult HIIT Class Spotlight ☀️
This is Callie Sutton, and you will see her at the 7:30-8:30 Adult HIIT Classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Callie shows up ready to work and have a good time. She is home for the summer and is making the most out of her last training sessions before she heads back. Good work Callie!
