I had the privilege to utilize my skills as a uniform tailor this week and sew new rank insignia on an Air Force uniform. It was an honor to employ my God-given talents in such a meaningful way. Tasks like these make my work truly a joy. In the past, our family was actively involved in Scouting when our son was young. As a result, I developed expertise in sewing patches. After our son grew up, I repurposed the patches to create a quilt

Sunday is my play day. I have a bunch of springtime prints, plan to sew them into little stuffed pillows with a whimsy of lace and buttons added. A giant basket for friends to choose from as they come to visit. My happy place is sharing a tiny touch of love with those who I am fortunate to meet.
