Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest team member, Riley, a board-certified music therapist. ๐๐ต Check out her bio below to get to know her better!
Hi there! Iโm Riley, a board-certified music therapist passionate about supporting empowerment, connection, and healing through music.
I bring a compassionate, energetic, and person-centered approach to every session. I believe each client is the expert in their own experience, and Iโm committed to creating a therapeutic space where you can show up just as you are. I strive to listen deeply and openly, and Iโm always learning and growing in my practice. My clinical work is grounded in neuroscience, person-centered therapy, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
I hold a Master of Music in Music Therapy from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Boston University. Iโve had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages in settings including acute care hospitals, mental health treatment centers, rehabilitation facilities, PreKโ12 schools, assisted living communities, and private practice.
As a musician, I love performing with bands, choirs, musical theater productions, and contemporary a ca****la groups. When Iโm not making music, youโll often find me hiking, swimming, or cuddling with my 11-year-old terrier mix, Cindy.
I look forward to connecting with you and exploring how music therapy can support you or your loved one.
