"Matthew A. Cherry, the inventor of the tricycle, was born on February 5, 1834 in Washington, D.C. While not much is known about his early life, it is evident that he had a passion for revolutionizing transportation. He is known for his improvement on the velocipede, followed by his invention of both the tricycle and the streetcar fender."

We deliver food directly to low-income housing sites where it can be redistributed by resident-leaders in the community. This model reduces the common barriers to accessing food, such as financial barriers, transportation, hours of operation and red tape paperwork. Since these programs are community-driven, as well as designed and managed by people living in the sites, language barriers and stigma associated with accessing food assistance are minimized. Bike Program updates:
· Williams Village North/ Village bike registration and repair days next week. Tuesday 9/8, Wednesday 9/9, and Friday 9/11 10-4pm.
· CU Boulder University Memorial Center Station is open 9-5 Monday-Friday serving students and staff.
· Station is open 10-4 Monday-Friday when construction allows. It will close intermittently when noise, fumes, make the environment inhospitable.
· Come register your bike at either bike station. Registering your bike gets you access to bike mechanics, classes, and is the best way to ensure you get your bike back in if it is lost/stolen and found.
· Students can replace their old, used cable lock with a brand new combo U-Lock at either bike station.
