🗣🌟American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Convention 2021🌟🗣
This year, 32 CU SLHS faculty, students, and alumni are authors and/or presenters on 25 posters/talks. This includes 13 faculty, 14 graduate students, 2 undergraduate students, and 3 alumni. Presentations include 9 in-person talks, 8 virtual talks, and 8 posters. In addition, two CU SLHS faculty members are being honored by ASHA during the 2021 Convention. Alison Lemke is the recipient of the Frank R. Kleffner Lifetime Clinical Career Award. The award recognizes an individual’s outstanding contributions to communication sciences and disorders over a period of at least 20 years. Pui Fong Kan is receiving the ASHA Clinical Research Grant ($50,000) for her proposal research on “Identifying Bilingual Children at Risk for Language Impairment: Evidence From a Response-Speed Judgment Task.” Congratulations to all!!
